The Black Belt Club is a special program offered at Elite Martial
Arts. It is open to our active students, at orange belt level or
above, who have shown a commitment to the school and earning their
black belt. Membership is by Shihan Nick's invitation only.
The Black Belt Club program at Elite Martial Arts was designed
in the spirit of Uechi Deshi. Uechi Deshi translates
in English to mean “live-in student”. This is an unlimited class
attendance program. A student who joins the Black Belt Club program
commits not only to train—every part of his daily life becomes
part of the training as well. Traditionally in Japan, this kind
of training in the martial arts has been available only to those
students who were earnest about dedicating their time for serious
practice.
Black Belt Club Members are part of the inner core of the school
and have several significant privileges:
- Special Black Belt Club uniform and patch.
- Classes focused on advanced techniques and weapons training
with Shihan Nick for Black Belt Club members only.
- Special discounts for family members and friends.
- Unlimited attendance to all Jiu Jitsu, Arnis, Kickboxing, and
Tai Chi classes.
- Discounts on special events.
- Discounts on pro shop purchases.
In life it is important to strive to be the best you can be. Black
Belt Club members set high standards at our school for all other
students to follow. They are respected and looked up to as leaders
and outstanding examples of what it truly means to be a Black Belt.
